Founded in 2014 by Todd and Loreen Wolford, the Northwest Storm Homeschool Volleyball Team sprang to life with a simple yet profound vision: to blend faith, fun, competition, and camaraderie. Working closely with a dedicated parent committee, Todd and Loreen laid the groundwork for the team’s debut. Together, they pieced together the first three squads for the inaugural season: Junior High, Junior Varsity, and Varsity. And guess what? That setup’s been a hit ever since! Each year, we’ve maintained three teams, all comprising homeschooled girls from grades 6 through 12.

Thomas and Whitney Budensiek have been on the coaching scene since the get-go, offering unwavering support to our players. Over the past decade, we’ve seen many former players return as coaches, passing down the Storm spirit to the next generation of volleyball enthusiasts. As we celebrate our tight-knit Storm family, we extend a warm invitation for you to join us and experience the joy and growth that come with being part of our team!
